Kevin Peter Hall (May 9, 1955 – April 10, 1991) was an American actor. Hall stood 7 ft 2 in (2.18 m) tall, and frequently played monster characters during his career. He was the original title character in the science fiction Predator franchise, appearing in the first 1987 film and its 1990 sequel.
At 7’2″ in height, American actor Kevin Peter Hall was among the tallest performers ever to grace the screen. His imposing stature helped him become one of the most prominent creature actors of the 80s and early 90s, taking the title role in the Predator movies as well as playing a friendly Bigfoot in family comedy Harry and the Hendersons and its spin-off series.

While working on the set of the series 227 (1985), he met his co-star, Alaina Reed-Hall, who played Rose Lee Holloway. They married--both on the set, and in real life. Predator 2 (1990) was released December 1990, and in April 1991, he died of AIDS, which he contracted through a blood transfusion a few months before.
