Most heli operations will yo-yo groups though to reduce downtime. In my experience with Whistler heli you rarely wait at all. The biggest risk really is if you get grouped with people with a much different skiing ability than yourselves. Unfortunately, many of the people that can afford heli-skiing aren’t the best skiers.
