The Old City of Shanghai ( Chinese: 上海老城厢; pinyin: Shànghǎi Lǎo Chéngxiāng; Shanghainese: Zånhae Lo Zenshian ), also formerly known as the Chinese city, is the traditional urban core of Shanghai.
