Feb 2, 2015 · Malice With two Metal Massacre tracks and a major label contract under their belts, the Los Angeles (by way of Portland, Oregon) band Malice seemed destined for stardom. The band had a strong Judas Priest influence, thanks in no small part to James Neal's standout vocals, and their style seemed tailor-made for the growing 80's metal scene.

Vor allem die beiden Gitarristen MICK ZANE (R.I.P.) und JAY REYNOLDS sind dafür verantwortlich, das sind, bzw. waren, wirklich großartige Musiker. Mein Fazit: Für mich gehört "In the Beginning" zu den Klassikern des Heavy Metal - keine Frage!

Album review. One of the relatively more noteworthy also-rans of the '80s Los Angeles metal scene, Malice released a pair of albums for Atlantic in 1985 and 1987, respectively, before guitarist Jay Reynolds jumped ship to join pal Dave Mustaine's band Megadeth for a brief spell after Chris Poland got the boot.
