The Defense Language Institute (part of the US Department of Defense) has made a lot of language courses through the years and some of them, including those for Russian, became part of public domain a few years ago. Although they might be a bit outdated in some respects, they are incredibly thorough, covering all aspects of the language.
The next Language Training Orientation is scheduled for July 8th, 2024. Beginning July 3rd, 2023, language instruction at FSI will be conducted in-person five days a week at the George P. Shultz National Foreign Affairs Training Center, 4000 Arlington Blvd., Arlington, VA. All language classes that begin on or after July 3rd will be in–person.
