Apr 1, 2019 · Unless you need to have new bushings put into the dizzy housing or some machining done to it, YOU can rebuild a [simple] GM distributor. Tear it down and mark/identify parts that require proper orientation for re-assembly. Clean everything up, Check everything out: bushing 'slop'; tach drive gear damage or stop wear; ground wire aging/damage.
Jan 2, 2012 · Actuator. The actuator will need to be removed. Take a picture and note the overall length of the coupling when screwed on before disassembly. This will minimize adjustment when you reinstall the actuator. One out the seal is very easy to replace. If memory serves me it just slide over the shaft and seals in a groove.
As a movie I’d agree with most people in this thread that 2.0 was probably the best. However that doesn’t mean that it’s pacing and character development didn’t feel off. It’s a shame, I really want to like the rebuilds cause the more Eva the better, but I just can’t.
