Sep 4, 2015 · I find alot of the races frustrating. Sometimes when you hit a barrel it will get stuck under you and spin you out. And the other cars forget about winning the race entirely when you are near them and just want to destroy you. #1. Effusion Sep 4, 2015 @ 4:40pm. Focus on making a car that you can drive well.
The gastown race has sort of a "rubberband" mechanic where you will catch up to Stank Gum if you are patient enough. If you see Stank Gum just use your boost and thunderpoon him. Dodge the mines, even if you slown down significantly (you will catch up again), and use the repair roads (indicated by the gearwheels).
