Apr 13, 2020 · Use AAMC question packs to practice for CARS because they are the most representative of the actual passages. In addition to the AAMC question packs and full lengths exams, I thought Jack Westin passages were helpful earlier in my preparation to practice this strategy.
Jul 17, 2023 · I'd probably start with 1-3 passages at the beginning just to get a feel for how to do CARS, practicing reading, and just getting the questions right > speed. After content review I'd kick it up to half a section (~25-27qs) or more if needed, as well as being conscious of timing.
Jack Westin CARS. One particularly interesting course focused on CARS prep and technique is that offered by Jack Westin. Jack’s course gets mixed reports but has obvious benefits. For those really stuck or continuing to struggle, I do think it can be a good fit.
Jun 25, 2019 · Hi guys, I have been using Jack Westin for CARS and although my scores aren't terrible I haven't been able to get perfect scores on any passages. Still getting 4/6,5/6,5/7,6/7. For some questions I don't understand Jack Westin's reasoning behind the explanation.
