Starting out in music production led her into the filmmaking world. In 2018, she was apart of the 2nd cohort of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences diversity program, Academy Gold. Then went on to work as an intern and casting assistant at BET Networks in the office of Robi Reed.
