Compassion International is an American child sponsorship and Christian humanitarian aid organization headquartered in Colorado Springs, Colorado, that aims to positively influence the long-term development of children globally who live in poverty.
What is Compassion International? We are a child-advocacy ministry pairing compassionate people with children living in extreme poverty to release the children from spiritual, economic, social, and physical poverty.
We are Christ-centered, church-driven and child-focused. Taken individually each cord is not unique. However, when taken together and with our Statement of Faith, why we serve, how we serve and who we serve creates a distinct approach to ministry.
