The UCSD cog sci department is amazing (I’m currently in it) and is ideal if you’re going into UI/UX. If you want more of a CS career def go to Irvine. At least speaking from a UCSD perspective, here’s somethings you should know: UCSD is in La Jolla so we’re not really in the city but it’s easy to get there.
