Depends on the total class size. The more the maximum capacity, the more likely you'll get off the waitlist. Plus, you have all of summer to wait for people to drop. 8th isn't a bad place, so I'd put myself on the waitlist.

International waitlist chances will all depend upon how many admitted International waitlisted students accept their admission and if there will be any spots left.
