     The controller is your logic, the model is your data, and the view is your output.

     So, this is the controller:

     $model = new UserDB();$user = $model->getUser("Chacha102");$view = new UserPage($user->getName(), $user->getEmail());-echo $view->getHTML();

     The model is the UserDB class which will give me my data. The view is the UserPage that I give the data from the model to, and it will then output that page.

     As you can see, the controller doesn't do much in this example, because you are simply getting user data and displaying it. That is the beauty of MVC. The controller doesn't have to deal with the User SQL or HTML stuff, it just grabs the data and passes it to the view.

     Also, the view doesn't know anything about the model, and the model doesn't know anything about the view. Therefore, you can chance the implementation of either, and it won't affect the other.

     Relating more to your example, you have the view correct, but you have mixed your controller and model.

     You could relieve this by:

     Controller:

     $model = new NumberToWord();$word = $model->getWord($a);$this->output->addContent($word);$this->output->displayContent();

     Model:

     class NumberToWord{ public function getWord($number) { if($number == 2){ return 'two'; } else{ return 'not two'; } } }

     And keep your same output

     I think C++ don't support implicit declaration so I will assume that you are talking about implicit conversion.

     An easy way to ilustrate the implicit conversion might be the next:

     int x = 1;double y = x; // 1 will be converted into 1.0 in runtime-string s = '1.2';double z = (double)s;double z2 = (double)'aa'; //throws an exception

     If we were talking about JavaScript, a good example could be:

     var x; //x has no type yetx = 1; //type of x will be determinated on runtime-

     MDN should have explained Type 4 with a clearer and simpler example. Here you go:

     Also, JavaScript arrays are just objects with indexed properties, so the above can also be written as the Type 3 format below:

     This example is straight from Normalizr.

     Can be normalized this way-

     { result: [1, 2], entities: { articles: { 1: { id: 1, title: 'Some Article', author: 1 }, 2: { id: 2, title: 'Other Article', author: 1 } }, users: { 1: { id: 1, name: 'Dan' } } }}

     What's the advantage of normalization?

     You get to extract the exact part of your state tree that you want.

     For instance- You have an array of objects containing information about the articles. If you want to select a particular object from that array, you'll have to iterate through entire array. Worst case is that the desired object is not present in the array. To overcome this, we normalize the data.

     To normalize the data, store the unique identifiers of each object in a separate array. Let's call that array as results.

     result: [1, 2, 3 ..]

     And transform the array of objects into an object with keys as the id(See the second snippet). Call that object as entities.

     Ultimately, to access the object with id 1, simply do this- entities.articles["1"].
