The Colburn School is a private performing arts school in Los Angeles with a focus on music and dance. It consists of four divisions: the Conservatory of Music, Music Academy, Community School of Performing Arts and the Trudl Zipper Dance Institute.
Located in sunny Los Angeles, the Community School offers online and in-person music lessons on many instruments—piano, strings, woodwinds, brass, percussion, and voice. All experience levels welcome, from beginner to advanced. At the Community School, students join together to perform chamber music and as part of large ensembles.

The Colburn Conservatory of Music has one goal: to prepare you for a career as a professional musician. Our undergraduate and graduate degrees, as well as two specialized certificate programs, are designed to address the needs and goals of pre-professional musicians like you, at all stages of development.
