Devil Hunter Yohko ( Japanese: 魔物ハンター妖子, Hepburn: Mamono Hantā Yōko) is a Japanese original video animation series created by Madhouse, produced by Toho, and released in North America by ADV Films as their first release. The series was first released on December 1, 1990 and ended on July 1, 1995.

Who knew coming of age could be so tough? 16 year-old Yohko Mano is your typical high-schooler dealing with a not-so-typical upbringing. Her grandmother has been training her in the martial arts and tests her skills on a regular basis. And all Yohko really cares about is a date with Hideki!
For centuries, the Mano family has been slaying demons as their heritage. Yohko's grandmother, Madoka, is the 107th Devil Hunter, and Yohko's mother, Sayoko, would have been the 108th, but for a small hitch: A Devil Hunter must be a virgin to take on the power and responsibility.

Dec 1, 1990 · Yohko is an ordinary 16-year-old girl – or so she thought, until one day, her grandmother tells her the hitherto guarded secret that Yohko is the 108th demon hunter. Her destiny is to go up against the evil forces of darkness. So, she submits to her fate in disbelief.
Yohko is traing to be a good hunter but the forrest is overwelmed by evil demons. Yohko also meets Azusa another Devil hunter like her. Ayako a girl who looks like Yohko must team up with Yohko to fight a evil demon. Yohko must rescue a cute boy that gets kidnalped by demons.
