Also Marvel sabotaged MvCI, which Capcom probably still feels burnt on. But now adays Marvel wants your first born son to use the license, and Capcom is trying to prioritize quality. It's not impossible for a new MvC game, but I think Capcom would want Marvel 100% on board this time instead of handicapping the game.
