At Salem, students may choose from more than 50 academic programs that span the humanities, the sciences, business and the arts. Our offerings include majors in biochemistry, health communication and race and ethnicity studies as well as minors in nonprofit management and community leadership, design and environmental science.

Our historic, 57-acre campus is located in the living history museum and neighborhood of Old Salem in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Salem College is adjacent to the Salem Creek Greenway, directly connecting our students to downtown Winston-Salem, just minutes away by car or by foot.
Salem College offers a bachelor of arts in the visual and performing arts with concentrations in art history, studio art, pre-art therapy, and music. It also offers minors in: Art History, Studio Art, Music, Visual and Performing Arts, Therapeutic Arts, and Visual Literature.
