Rift Fournier (May 16, 1936 – October 6, 2013) was an American writer, screenwriter and television producer. Fournier, who lost the ability to walk at 17 years old due to polio, had a long and diverse career in television.
Rift Fournier was a producer, writer and director who had a thriving career in television despite being stricken with polio as a teenager, after which he never walked again. In 1963, Fournier co-produced the initial syndicated version of The Mike Douglas Show in Cleveland, Ohio.
