Jackson-Reed High School (founded as Woodrow Wilson High School) is a public high school in Washington, D.C. It serves grades 9 through 12 as part of the District of Columbia Public Schools. The school sits in the Tenleytown neighborhood, at the intersection of Chesapeake Street and Nebraska Avenue NW.

Mar 21, 2022 · DC’s largest high school—formerly known as Woodrow Wilson High School—is officially going by its new name: Jackson-Reed High School. The change went into effect on March 15, following years of calls to remove the former U.S. president’s name.

At Jackson-Reed we approach the transition to high school as a process. Our approach is to see the transition to ninth grade as a year-long process. The school year starts with an orientation for ninth grade and new students and parents, usually one or two weeks before the first day of school.
