American screenwriter Lee Loeb worked for Columbia Pictures from 1935 to 1937. Loeb then moved to RKO, where among many other projects he co-scripted the Astaire-Rogers musical Shall We Dance (1937). During the 1940s, he worked for studios as varied as 20th Century-Fox and Republic.
