We talk to a lot of people who have written or co-written on some films that I personally (speaking as just Ron here) fucking LOVE.
The film was written and executive produced by Steve Zacharias and Jeff Buhai who had written the original Revenge of the Nerds. Casting. Instead of actors, much of the titular "next generation" of nerds were portrayed by Stand-up comedians. Anthony Edwards was unavailable for his role of Gilbert Lowe, Lewis' best friend.
