Cy Chermak (20 September 1929 – 29 January 2021; age 91) was a writer and producer who, along with Stuart and Sara Charno, wrote the story for the Star Trek: The Next Generation fourth season episode "The Wounded". Chermak was married to writer Francine Carroll between 1955 and her death in 2007.
Cy Chermak was an executive producer for "CHiPs" and other TV shows, and a writer for "Rescuers: Stories of Courage". He died in 2021 at age 91 in Hawaii.
