In 2004, we put the finishing touches on our first collaboration with EA – the seminal Burnout 3: Takedown. The game was a bona fide classic, averaging 93% review scores and sweeping game of the year awards, including Spike TV’s Driving Game of the Year and the fan-voted “Most Addictive Game” ahead of Halo 2 and San Andreas.
Burnout is a series of racing games developed by Criterion Games. The first two games were published by Acclaim Entertainment, while later instalments were published by Electronic Arts.
