A former lover of Noël Coward, he was an actor, pantomime dame and cabaret performer.

Douglas Byng was one of the most gifted singer-songwriters from a time when that word had yet to become part of the entertainment business. These tracks date from the late 1920's through to the late 1930's and are great fun, excellently restored for this reissue.
