Silvio Peter "Tino" Insana (February 15, 1948 – May 31, 2017) was an American actor, producer, writer, and comedian. Life and career. Insana was born in Chicago, Illinois on February 15, 1948, the son of Silvio A. Insana, a musician, and Hiloray (Swanson).

Silvio Peter "Tino" Insana was an American actor, voice actor, comedian, producer, and screenwriter, who was best known for his various roles. He made brief cameos in films, such as Neighbors, Three Amigos, Who's Harry Crumb?, and Beverly Hills Cop III. He also made several guest appearances in television sitcoms, such as Night Court and Mad About You. Additionally, he voiced Pig in Barnyard and its spin-off TV series, as well as Ted Sven in Bobby's World. In 2008, he took over the voice role of Barf in Spaceballs: The Animated Series (due to Insana's voice being strikingly similar to the late John Candy), and also voiced Mr. Grouper in the Nickelodeon animated series Bubble Guppies (his final role before his death).
For Disney, he voiced Bushroot in Darkwing Duck, Scatter Squirrel and Stu in Bonkers, Prince Uncouthma in the Aladdin TV series, and JoJo Diggety (Pepper Ann's police officer uncle) in Pepper Ann. He also did additional voice work in Goof Troop, The Little Mermaid TV series, House of Mouse, Jungle Cubs, Buzz Lightyear of Star Command, and Teacher's Pet. Additionally, he had an uncredited role in the 1991 Touchstone Pictures film Oscar as Tiny the Iceman, and narrated the 2013 Disney/Pixar film Monsters University.
