Levens was arrested for beating his first wife, Urzula Modica, on January 25, 1998. The charges were dismissed after Modica, who was then his girlfriend, claimed she lied to police about the beating.
On March 16, 2012, neighbors called 911 when they heard Levens threaten to kill his second wife, Kassandra. Levens fled the scene before police arrived. Police photographed Kassandra with a swollen eye and bruised face. Levens said Kassandra fell into a doorknob.
