Screenwriter and producer. Beginning his career as a screenwriter with Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer (MGM), Columbia, and Eagle-Lion after World War II, Rapf joined MGM as an associate producer in the late 1940s. There he worked on such films as Half a Hero, Big Leaguer, and Desperate Search.
