The Royal Danish Academy teaches a variety of different study programmes. We have a range of Master programmes taught either in English or Danish, whereas our Bachelor programmes are primarily in Danish.

The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts’ Schools of Visual Arts fall under the auspices of the Danish Ministry for Culture and offer two degree programmes: a three-year Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) and a three-year Master of Fine Arts (MFA) programme.
The BFA (Bachelor of Fine Arts) covers a three-year long study programme. Students who have completed their BFA can continue their studies to earn an MFA (Master of Fine Arts) degree. The BFA programme covers many disciplines.
The academy offers fine arts degrees at the bachelor’s and master’s levels designed to equip students with practical skills, creativity, and strong technical knowledge in different aspects of art to prepare them for successful careers in the art industry.
