Rose Luise Maria Stradner (July 31, 1913 – September 27, 1958) was an Austrian stage and film actress, who starred opposite Edward G. Robinson, James Stewart, Gregory Peck, and other leading men of her era. [1] She was married to the film director Joseph L. Mankiewicz.
Rose Stradner (1913-1958) was a stage and film actress who moved to Hollywood in 1936 and married writer-director Joseph L. Mankiewicz. She appeared in only four films, including The Last Gangster and The Keys of the Kingdom, and struggled with mental health issues until her suicide.
