    Background

A notorious snitch, and generally a lowlife, Calhoun has been described as somebody who would "raffle his sister for his next score". He became a customer of Juan Garcia Cruz, a cannabis dealer, and later discovered his part in a massive cannabis distribution ring.

    Events of L.A. Noire

Calhoun offered a tip to the LAPD Vice Department on the cannabis ring, in exchange for $50. He met Detectives Cole Phelps and Roy Earle at Lyman'sbar, where he revealed that Juan was receiving and stashing over fifty pounds worth of cannabis weekly, brought in from Tijuana, Mexico. After giving Juan's address, Roy affronted Calhoun by giving a mere $20, despite the agreement being $50. Phelps suggested that he should leave town, to stop living as a snitch, and start on a clean slate.

In the description for Reefer Madness, Calhoun is described as a "junkie, snitch, and all around no-hoper."
