Edward Tivnan believes that a principal obstacle to peace in the Middle East—perhaps the principal obstacle—is Israeli intransigence. That intransigence, in his view, is encouraged by American Jews who lobby on Israel’s behalf irrespective of its policies.
Writer: Miami Vice. Edward F.X. Tivnan studied at the University of Toronto and graduated from Amherst College in 1967; he then set sail for England, where he studied Ancient History and Philosophy for two years at Oxford's Trinity College. In 1969, he accepted a fellowship in philosophy at Princeton where he completed a Ph.D. in 1973.
