Christopher Alan Broderick (born March 6, 1970) is an American musician, best known as a former guitarist of the thrash metal band Megadeth. He is also formerly the lead guitarist and keyboardist for Jag Panzer , appearing on four of the band's albums, The Age of Mastery , Thane to the Throne , Mechanized Warfare and Casting the Stones .

4 days ago · When guitarist Chris Broderick left Megadeth in 2014, he said that his reason for leaving was that he wanted more creative freedom to write what he wanted. He never phrased that as a slight against Megadeth and Dave Mustaine, as the split was, by all accounts, amicable. He went on to form Act of Defiance with fellow former Megadeth member, drummer Shawn Drover.
