Although he made his debut with Vishal Bhardwaj’s 7 Khoon Maaf (2011) as a 45-year-old man, he came into the much-needed limelight with Shah Rukh Khan starrer Happy New Year (2014). Vivaan is the step-cousin of actor Shahid Kapoor, as Shahid’s step-mother, Supriya Pathak, and Vivaan’s mother, Ratna Pathak, are sisters.
