Merab Ninidze (1965, Tbilisi) comes from a theatrical family who studied at the Academy of Performing Art and Film, Tbilisi (1982-1984). His first stage role was in 1979 in a production of Richard III and his first screen role was in Tengiz Abuladze ‘s film Repentance.
