Toby Lawrence Whithouse (/ ˈ w ɪ t h aʊ s /; born 5 July 1970) is an English actor, screenwriter and playwright. His highest-profile work has been the creation of the BBC Three supernatural television series Being Human.

Toby Whithouse (born 5 July 1970[1]) wrote several episodes of Doctor Who during the David Tennant, Matt Smith and Peter Capaldi eras, and the Torchwood series 1 episode Greeks Bearing Gifts. In 2017, he played a German soldier in the Doctor Who Christmas special Twice Upon a Time.
A comedy drama fantasy show about a werewolf, a vampire, and a ghost living together in Bristol. Created by Toby Whithouse, the series ran for five seasons and received critical acclaim and awards nominations.
