Smith copies himself onto Bane ( Ian Bliss ), a crew member of the Zion hovercraft Caduceus. While waiting to leave the Matrix with a message from The Oracle, Bane is attacked and overwritten by Smith, who then takes control of his body in the real world.

Dec 3, 2020 · In the films, Bane serves as a real world vessel for Agent Smith after being possessed by him in the second movie. While many people still debate about how good the films are after the original Matrix, I have to commend Ian Bliss for his ability to mimic Hugo Weaving's Smith almost perfectly.
