Takuma Sato (佐藤 琢磨, Satō Takuma, born 28 January 1977), nicknamed "Taku", is a Japanese professional racing driver. He competes part-time in the IndyCar Series, driving the No. 75 Honda for Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing. Sato is a two-time winner of the Indianapolis 500, having won the event in 2017 and 2020.
A two-time Indianapolis 500 winner, Takuma Sato joins Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing in 2024 for the 108th Indianapolis 500 presented by Gainbridge. Sato was the first Japanese driver to win an INDYCAR SERIES race and the first to win the Indianapolis 500. Sato previously raced in Formula One.

In being confirmed to a partial-season role with Chip Ganassi Racing, Sato landed with arguably his best chance to win the Indianapolis 500 presented by Gainbridge.
Takuma Sato shone in British Formula Three, winning the championship in 2001. But his debut F1 season for Jordan in 2002, as Eddie Jordan tried in vain to court Honda into staying with them, was notable for a string of accidents until he scooped fifth place at his home grand prix.
