Domestic and English as a primary language applicants: Oberlin College and Conservatory is test-optional for students applying for admission for fall 2024. SAT and ACT score submissions will still be accepted, but will no longer be required.

Deadlines. There are two ways to apply to Oberlin as a first-year applicant: Early Decision and Regular Decision. Early Decision is a way for you to show us that Oberlin is your first choice! Submitting an Early Decision application means that if admitted, you will definitely enroll at Oberlin.

The admissions committee evaluates applications using a holistic review process to get a sense of a student’s academic qualifications as well as what a student is like as a person and what they will contribute to the Oberlin community.
