Pretty easy. Take Muir Woods Rd to CA-1 to the Overlook. Cell service is poor in the area so print out a map before heading out. Go to google maps and type in Muir Woods National Monument and Muir Beach Overlook. It's about 3.5 miles but it is a windy, slow road. Follow signs for the Overlook, not the actual beach. Safe travels.

Cookouts. We saw a few dogs enjoying the beach and loved The serenity of the beach. Definitely recommend a visit, so close to San Francisco.
