   • Explore different ways to experience this place. Compo is a nice, clean little beach during season if you live in Westport. Otherwise the recently increased out of town daily and seasonal fees are very high and exclusive for most people. For many years we purchased a season pass, until it became too expensive and simply not worth the cost.

   • This beach is nice and clean for anyone looking for one in the Fairfield County Area. However, there is a limited day pass system in effect, so it is wise to come early and prepare backup plan. If you are not a town of Westport resident, be prepared. Your day may depend on it.

   How has Compo Beach changed in 25 years?

   • Compo Beach has changed a lot in 25 years. It is a mob scene now. Hard to park and people grab all of the grills and tables to save for big groups and even parties. And you can't park there without a sticker or a hefty parking fee. Honestly, Calf Pasture is much nicer and less crowded.
