The PennDOT Sign Sculpture Garden in Crawford County on Route 322/Route 19/Route 6, near the I-79 exit in Meadville is one of the zaniest attractions around. Instead of hitting the scrap heap like would normally happen with signs that are replaced, nearby Allegheny College created a public art installation out of them.
May 6, 2024 · This is basically a fence, about 200 yards long, turned into a mural made up entirely of old metal road signs. It's unique and a lot of fun. You have to walk along a highway to see all it, but I didn't find that to be a problem. Date of experience: April 2024. Ask bobthatsme about PennDOT Road Sign Sculpture Garden.
