   • There is something weirdly appealing about Commando and its self-deprecating celebration of violent excess. [16 Oct 1985, p.D5] This is a good movie to turn brain off. All the Arnold action movies are great but this is one of my favorites. Literally presses all the buttons a film should.

   Commando is in my mind the best action film out there to date, this movie was made 14 years ago and no other film can push it out of first position. The film got everything: a great looking Arnold, extremely fine music by James Horner and great settings for the action scenes.
