- STEEL SHARKS is a modestly entertaining, if predictable, direct-to-video potboiler. With a linear plot, TV-caliber acting, and static camera, it doesn't aim very high and so manages to hit its target.

Bad movie. martin_humble 8 November 2001. Full of flaws, stiff acting, bad effects, bad plot and very silly stereotypes of non-american soldiers. This is a bad movie but somewhat exciting a second or two with Gary Busey, excellent as always, in one role but this does not save this silly movie.
