This nostalgic romance follows restless young man Victor Chmara (Hippolyte Girardot) as he woos the gorgeous Yvonne Jacquet (Sandra Majani) while on vacation at a luxury hotel on Lake Geneva. The couple spends much of their time lounging about the shores of the lake with eccentric gay doctor Rene Meinthe (Jean-Pierre Marielle), who regularly dispenses witty observations about their posh fellow tourists.
