  1. Blue Eyes of the Broken Doll is a decent enough Spanish Giallo with enough twists and turns in the plot to make it reasonably entertaining. The biggest problem, however, is that it lacks the style I usually associate with the genre.

  3. Blue Eyes of the Broken Doll (1974) film review. 7/10. Honestly I did not remember I'd watched this film before until the very end so I guess that tells you how memorable it is. Nonetheless, it is a genuinely good film.

While I'm fairly certain the main concerns of Blue Eyes of the Broken Doll are blood, sharp instruments, and hot chicks, it also engages very consistently with isolation, and the reality of suffering alone.
