Secret agent Gene Autry (Gene Autry) and partner Frog (Smiley Burnette) are sent to Mexico on a dangerous mission. There Gene takes a liking to a local lady named Dolores (Lupita Tovar). But, when his bosses reveal to Gene his task, he's stunned to learn that the target of his criminal investigation is his new love's brother, Andreo (Duncan Renaldo).
