She has won an Academy Honorary Award, Grammy Award, an Emmy Award, two Golden Globe Awards and three consecutive Billboard Music Awards for Songwriter of the Year from 1997 to 1999.
- "Rhythm of the Night" (1985) One of Warren's first major hits, written for the Berry Gordy martial arts cult classic The Last Dragon, "Rhythm of the Night" is a tropical-flavored happiness booster.

Warren has been named ASCAP Songwriter of the Year six times and Billboard’s Songwriter of the Year four times. Her publishing company Realsongs, was named one of the top five music publishing corporations and is the most successful female-owned and operated business in the music industry.
