Did you see the deal we made? Now, look, we want to get people in. You know, we got 59 hostages. I never paid anything." :: The Trump administration oversaw at least four prisoner swaps with foreign countries :: "They released some of the greatest killers anywhere in the world, some of the most evil killers they got, and we got our people back. But, boy, we make some horrible, horrible deals, and it's nice to say we got them back, but does that set a bad precedent?" Trump attacked Harris' character and the policies she has promoted as vice president, and he continued to raise questions about her racial identity. The Former President then congratulated Vladamir Putin on the recent prisoner swap with the U.S., adding the deal sets a "bad precedent" for the U.S. Earlier Saturday, the Trump campaign made a proposal to debate Democratic Vice President Kamala Harris on Fox News on Sept. 4, but the Harris campaign countered that Trump was trying to back out of a debate that had already been set to run on ABC. The rules would be similar to the first debate with President Joe Biden, who has since dropped his reelection bid, Trump said in a post on Truth Social late on Friday. But this time it would have a "full arena audience" and take place in the battleground state of Pennsylvania, Trump said.
