The King's School, Chester, is a co-educational private day school for pupils aged 4 to 18. It is one of the seven 'King's Schools' established (or re-endowed and renamed) by King Henry VIII in 1541 after the Dissolution of the Monasteries. It is situated outside the city of Chester, England.
Welcome to King’s Admissions. The King’s School is an independent, academically selective school taking girls and boys from ages 4-18 years old. Entry into Willow Lodge (infants) and Senior School is by assessment day or examination in January for the following September entry.

Children assessed and diagnosed with special educational needs will be supported in the classroom through high quality teaching and differentiation. For children who require more specialist intervention, one-to-one lessons may be offered at an additional charge.
Our aim is to provide breakfast and after-school care in a safe and stimulating environment for boys and girls in the Junior School and the first year of the Senior School.
