Robert Kelly Thomas [1] (born February 14, 1972) is an American singer, songwriter, and musician. He is the lead vocalist for the Florida-based alternative rock band Matchbox Twenty, which he formed in 1995 and with whom he has released five studio albums.
Rob Thomas was born on 14 February 1972 in Landstuhl, West Germany. He is an actor and composer, known for Meet the Robinsons (2007), Love Actually (2003) and Keeping the Faith (2000). He has been married to Marisol Thomas since 2 October 1999.
